A night out with Him! Shambho!

Of the thirty million lords in this land out there,
Who claim to make one's 'life easy and prosperous'
Wonder why I think about just You every single day
For all You do is, sit still, ashes smeared and waiting to destroy!

So funny, people call the likes of you, 'a bastard'
For none have any clue, about your lineage or birth.
Even 'time' doesn't know, for it was just Your creation
Like once You stood, a beam of fire, with no beginning nor end!

You either sit silent like You did not exist, or
Dance mad like one who just discovered he was immortal.
I know, You don't care which one of them You do.
Still unable to do either of them, like You do!

And wanted to ask Your serpent friend something,
Hey, you! the limbless one, of all others so dying to just see Him, It's you,
He chose to give a place, not at foot, but up at head! Either too unfair,
Or, you have something special, this dumbo will never know!

One late morning I thought, it was the last one of this life
You were the lord of death, they said
But wasn't it You who pulled me out of it?
For whatever reasons you did, just know You got some plan for me!

As just a night out with You too short,
Want this ecstasy every moment of my life.
Awaken me up from this sleep, before its too late
Or I may forget for ever, that I am just in a dream called life!

Not looking for more miracles to happen to me,
For it is You who poured Yourself and became 'Me'
An idea this is in my head right now,
Waiting to see it become a Truth, far beyond any doubt soon!

Woman

                                          sketch- Prashant Pawar
I did learn the word 'femininity', quite late,
Though the meaning my heart knew
The day I gasped my first breath,
while you pulled a smile with joy atop that pain.

Then grew up I, to discover how rusty and dry
this world would be, but for the fragrance of
Kindness and love you spread around
Not a girl met I, who disproved me what I just said!

When the menfolk went on to boast their chests
Of strength and pride, worthy of mere blood and sorrow
You chose, a silent path of love and sacrifice
Not to say men are heartless but to say you are wonderful

Lately you wanted to equal man totally, they say
Oh, fine, but I beg not to loose your femininity in the pursuit
For that sure was not nature's plan, Or is it the man
Who is failing to make understand you're so special?

Insecure they are, who call you inferior and second,
For in the battle of silence, hearts you rip apart
Which quite a few knew how to mend back right,
Oh, someone called you a mystery not without a reason!

In the Creator's eyes

Good and bad never did exist,
 But in man's ignorant cyst
Happy for the wolf or tears for the goat?
Stop, for this just a game of hide n seek

Fruit one likes and filth one hates
But fruit at stem was just filth at root
Ask the earth, not the mind
The story of life before you scoot

Joy at birth and sorrow at death? but
both are same knew the canny sage
Smart are few, with a smile at death
Of the billions walked this earth,

Philosophies change and preachers pass, but
Man eat mud, soon mud eat man
Sees this game for millennium again
Yet he fights, and looses battle in vain

Life- a delightful game with simple rules,
No points to score and onlookers to woo
Just to play the aim, for stardust is all
That breathes and laughs and cries and IS.
